The alarm clock kicked on. Its music was distant, muted. In another room? I shifted my stiff body. My back protested the movement with a pinch that rivaled a knife wound. There wasn't a comforter or any pillows around my body, only a coldness seeping up from . . .
The floor.
Cracking my eyes open, I realized I was in the bathroom. I palmed the frigid, ivory-colored tile and pushed up to my knees. Every part of me ached. I glanced around and noticed a shallow pool of water inside the footed tub. A sponge lay at the bottom.
Ugh.
I'd cleaned again. It was starting to happen more often. Time was slipping away without recollection. I'd be lying if I said it didn't scare me at all. Part of me was terrified. The other part was already numb, ready to accept this fate. My family's fate.

J.M. Miller first discovered her love of writing in high school where she penned poetry for extra credit in English class and even braved
the anxiety of an open-mic night at a local coffee shop.  Life soon followed, with a couple of careers, marriage, and a baby.  The urge to write again came not long after her daughter’s birth, this time calling for more than a few lines in a messy composition notebook.
She is a military spouse, and a veteran herself, who finds inspiration in the people she’s met and the places she’s lived and traveled.

*Cover Reveal* The Real Thing By Cassie Mae

So, this book... it's about this girl.

And she loves her online time.

Her phone is her buddy.

And her favorite app is her Kindle, because she also LOVES to read.

Read a lot.

Then there's this boy.

He's best friends with this bookworm girl.

He sort of has a thing for her.

But, he's also got major anxiety.

And isn't sure how to make a move.

So when they end up rooming together for the summer, this guy tries to get this girl to put the screen away long enough for him to win her over.

But of course, it's not easy to unplug. Especially for an internet junkie.

Hmm... that girl sounds pretty familiar ;)

And here's the hawt cover for it!

And here's the actual blurb, and not my picture version :)
Eric Matua has one friend—his best friend and childhood sweetheart, who needs a place to stay for the summer. Mia Johnson has thousands of friends—who live in her computer. Along with her email chats and Facebook notifications, Mia also devours romance novels, spending countless hours with fictional characters, dreaming of her own Romeo to sweep her off her feet. When she starts receiving supersweet messages from a stranger who thinks she’s someone else, Mia begins to believe that real love is possible outside her virtual world.
When the two friends become roommates, Mia finds herself falling harder than she ever thought she could. But Eric keeps his desires locked away, unsure of himself and his ability to give his best friend what she deserves in a boyfriend. As her advances are continually spurned, Mia splits her time between Eric and her computer. But she soon realizes she’s about to lose the only real thing she’s ever had.

About Cassie Mae :)

Cassie Mae is a nerd to the core from Utah, who likes to write about other nerds who find love. She’s the author of the Amazon Bestsellers REASONS I FELL FOR THE FUNNY FAT FRIEND and HOW TO DATE A NERD, and is the debut author for the Random House FLIRT line with her New Adult novels FRIDAY NIGHT ALIBI and SWITCHED. She spends time with her angel children and perfect husband who fan her and feed her grapes while she clacks away on the keyboard. Then she wakes up from that dream world and manages to get a few words on the computer while the house explodes around her. When she’s not writing, she’s spending time with the youth in her community as a volleyball and basketball coach, or searching the house desperately for chocolate.

*Spotlight* Crossroads By Paige Matthews

Synopsis:

Everyone finds themselves at a crossroads in their life.

Caleb Cross is not your typical front man. His is not the bad boy, partying, love ‘em and leave ‘em persona, although his public image states otherwise. Being the lead singer of the popular rock band, Double Cross, there are a lot of things the fans and the public do not know about Caleb. Sure, he likes to have a little fun now and again, but after a publicity stunt goes wrong, he is determined to shed the ultra-bad boy image.

Katherine "Kat" Summers is not a typical woman. Not a girl who gets star struck or easily impressed, Kat is content with being herself and who she is. When Kat's company is hired by Caleb Cross to rebrand him, she finds herself re-evaluating everything she knows about herself and about her life. Trying to maintain who she is against what she begins to desire, proves to be difficult for her.

For Caleb, hiring a new publicist to help reshape his image was the easy part. What he didn’t count on was being reunited with the one girl that made him question everything about himself. He’s forced to confront himself once more, in order to learn what he truly wants, and who he truly is.

Author bio:
I grew up in a small, idyllic affluent town in the Western part of Connecticut, USA. The town definitely did not match my personality. My high school years were filled with the proverbial teenage fun, although not too much by me. I stayed close to home and pursued my B.A. in English Comparative Literature from a local college and then continued on for my M.A in English Professional Writing. I have always had a love for reading and literature and only furthered that during my studies. During my M.A. studies I decided it was time to challenge myself and work in a field that I have long admired and dreamt off: being a writer.
Having entered the lifestyle a few years ago, I write erotica with a preference toward BDSM themes. I enjoy exploring the emotional connection and emotions behind the D/s relationships and why we like what we like.

Excerpt 1:

The bath water had turned lukewarm and I decided it was time to get out. I dried myself off and dressed into a pair of bed shorts and tank top. I was just getting into bed when I heard my cell phone ring; the personal one, not the work one. Only a few people in my world had access to that number; my father, Margaret and my best friend Carly.
“Hello,” I said without even looking at the caller id.
“Well, well, well such an informal greeting for your new client.” The voice froze me. Caleb. How the hell does this man keep wiggling his way into my life?
“How did you get this number? No one has this number.” I said as I started to pace my bedroom, trying to keep my voice low.
“Your father. I want access to you, and I will have it. Now, Kat…”
“Katherine. My name is Katherine.” I interrupted him.
“Katherine,” he purred. I swore my pussy clenched at the sound. Jesus. Why does he do this to me?
“What do you want, Mr. Cross? It is nearly midnight and I was about to go to bed.” My fingers were drumming against my thigh as I waited for his answer, wearing a path in my carpet.
“Just to hear your voice, Kat. I mean Katherine.”
“What the fuck kind of game are you playing Mr. Cross?” My patience was wearing thin. I was exhausted and not in the mood to deal with his mind games.
“Caleb. You will call me Caleb, understood?” There was a change in the intensity of his voice.
“Mr…Caleb, what are you trying to accomplish?” I took a deep breath trying to calm my nerves; my fingers still drumming away.
“Just to get to know my new publicist.” His voice deepened now and I wondered what he was thinking about. I heard some voices in the background and then the covering of the phone. Fuck this.
“Well, you can call between the hours of eight a.m. and five p.m. for those conversations. I have to go.”
“You are my publicist and I will have access to you whenever I want.” The voices in the background got louder and I could make out they were female.
“You know what Caleb. Fuck you. How dare you call me at this hour when you clearly are busy? Goodnight!” I hung up before I could hear his response. Who the hell did he think he was?
My phone rang back immediately. I denied the call and proceeded to turn it off, along with my work phone. Any emergencies could be handled in the morning. I wasn’t ready for the shit storm Caleb Cross was going to bring to my life.
