                                                Storm(Elemental) By Brigid Kemmerer
                                                           Publication April 24th 2012
Becca Chandler is suddenly getting all the guys-- the ones she doesn't want. Ever since her ex-boyfriend spread those lies about her.

Then she saves Chris Merrick from a beating in the school parking lot. Chris is different. Way different: he can control water--just like his brothers can control fire, wind, and earth. They're powerful. Dangerous. Marked for death.

And now that she knows the truth, so is Becca.

Secrets are hard to keep when your life's at stake. When Hunter, the mysterious new kid around school, turns up with a talent for being in the wrong place at the right time, Becca thinks she can trust him. But then Hunter goes head-to-head with Chris, and Becca wonders who's hiding the most dangerous truth of all.

The storm is coming. . .

REVIEW
4 STARS

Storm is the story of 4 brothers who have elemental powers  and Becca who saves Chris when he is the victim of a beating after school.Suddenly she is embroiled in their lives.Becca has to deal with Rumors started by her Ex-Boyfriend as well which makes the entire school think she is something that she is not. Then Hunter comes to school and takes an interest in Becca.Strange things are happening the Becca is bound and determined to find out what is going on.This is Chris and Becca's story.
I enjoyed this story.I loved the thought of people having elements as a power.Who wouldn't love to be able to use Water to make you stronger or Fire? Becca was a really great character.I liked reading about her and what she was going through. She was torn between two guys,Chris and Hunter.Whats a girl to do?Chris is somewhat like a bad boy in looks. He tends to keep to himself but he does have a thing for Becca. The only issue it seems was getting him to act on it.I didn't like that it was so easy for Hunter(who is the new kid in school) to swoop in and start dating Becca.I did enjoy the descriptions of Chris's Brothers and loved getting to know them.I look forward to reading their books soon. There was one scene in particular after the dance and in the field that had me at the edge of my seat.I won't ruin it for anyone but whew it was a doozy.I think My only issue with this book is I was reading it and I was about 85% in on my kindle and suddenly Im finding things out about Becca that should have been addressed sooner in the book and not at the end if there is not going to be a second book just about Becca and Chris. The last paragraph of the book about made me want to scream..I waited the entire book for that moment and it was so small.I did love Storm and definitely cannot wait to read the others. This is a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat when reading it.Great Job Brigid Kemmerer.
