YA AUTHOR BASH With Kimberly Ann Miller!

A cruise ship. A beautiful island. Two sexy guys. What could possibly go wrong?

In the Bermuda Triangle—a lot.

Hoping to leave behind the reminders of her crappy life--her father's death years ago, her mother's medical problems, and the loser who’s practically stalking her--seventeen-year-old Autumn Taylor hops on a ship with her sister for a little distraction. When she wakes up in the Bermuda Triangle, she fears she's gone nuts for more than one reason: that loser’s suddenly claiming they're a happy couple... a hot guy is wrapping his arms around her and saying "Happy Anniversary"... and suddenly, she’s full of bruises, losing her hair, and getting IV medication. Autumn visits the ship's doctor, hoping for a pill or a shot to make the craziness go away. Instead, she's warned that these "alternate realities" could become permanent.

She just has to ask herself one question—how the hell is she going to get out of this mess?

Random Questions 1.Why do you write this genre of books? I love writing for teens because it is an amazing time in our lives, filled with a lot of firsts—first kiss, first love, first job, first taste of freedom. Teens feel everything so strongly, and books for teens bring us back to that incredible time. 2.Did you always want to write? No! I only started writing in late 2008 after reading the Twilight Saga. Prior to that, I never read YA and had no thoughts of writing! But I love it and am so glad I started writing. 3.You’re stalking your Favorite Actor/Actress...who is it? Hmm, I really don’t have a favorite, because I love the different talents of so many people. If I could hang out with someone, I think I would like to chat with Tom Hanks. He’s multitalented and seems like a really nice guy! 4.What author would you like to be locked in a room with so you could have 24 hours to pick their brain? Oh boy…I don’t know! I’d take anyone who would share valuable advice. 5.Who do you feel should play Christian Grey? I have no idea—I’ve never read 50 Shades! 6.What book would you want to be made into a movie? I would say Sanctum by Sarah Fine. It’s an amazing story and would make a great movie. 7.Money is no expense..where would you go on vacation? Bora Bora, and I would stay in one of those huts with glass bottoms that are built over the ocean! 8.Any new books in the works? Yes, a few. I have a YA contemp about a high school senior who writes the conspiracy theory column for her school paper. I have a NA contemp about a girl starting college and dealing with several issues. And of course, the companion novel to Triangles, Parallel Triangles, is scheduled to come out in early 2015! 9.Any advice to aspiring authors? Never give up. It takes a lot of hard work and commitment to learning and improving the craft, but it is worth it. The writing community is an amazing and supportive bunch of people! 10.Last but not least...how do you feel about Squirrels? I love squirrels! I buy bags of unsalted peanuts for them and sprinkle bird seed on the ground for them to enjoy. My cats love watching them, too.
