The lone skater packed up his gear and waved goodbye to us.
I couldn’t say I wasn’t happy to see him go. I had spent the whole day with
him, and he didn’t go out of his way to be nice to me.
“Hey, Nate, we’re going to go stuff our faces now. Come on!
You’re a part of the gang now,” Mark said, obviously not knowing how I felt
about this new Nate guy.
Turning to Mark, I gave him the dirtiest look I could. I
pictured razor blades coming out of my eyes and cutting him up.
