*Blog Tour Stop* AnguiSH By Lila Felix

AnguiSH Blurb:

Anguish was the status quo, until she walked in.
Breaker James Collins is confined in a prison of his own making. Scarred doesn’t begin to define his hell since finding out his girlfriend had cheated, stolen, and lied two years ago. It led to a single event—one that would blacken his days and his nights from then on. Since then, he hasn’t left his house, crippled by fear of people and any social interaction.
Ashland talks too much and has the voice of a meth-laden prairie dog, or so she’s always been told. She’s been called annoying and irritating all of her life and gave up on having friends for a long time. College has given her a new lease on a social life and she’s embraced who she is. But now she’s waiting for the one guy who can take her breath away and put up with her antics.
A simple note pinned to a corkboard will lead Ash right to Breaker’s solitary world and she will learn that just because a guy doesn’t fit her ideal, doesn’t mean she won’t fall head over feet in love.

Anguish is the story of Breaker Collins,He suffers from panic disorder, agoraphobia and anxiety. His mom goes to his house one day and sees how badly he has let the house go and she puts out an ad for a housekeeper.Enter Ashland.Ashland needs a job and applies for this job. Ashland is shocked when she first see;s Breaker.Shocked in a good way.
I enjoyed Anguish,I can relate to Breaker for several reasons.Dealing with Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia is something I have actually dealt with.Lila nailed the feelings that associate with it on the head.I think I would have liked to get to know Ashland a bit more.I was confused with how she was stated in the blurb and I expected a shy girl who didnt have friends, but what I got was a girl with confidence and then some.In the book I felt I wasn't able to emotionally get on the same level with her.She almost felt like a guy in that respect. She was sometimes really blasé about somethings that I wanted her to pull herself in a bit more.Breaker felt far more romantic then Ashland did and usually its the other way around.I just feel it could have used a little more Ommph. I loved the ending and specially that it had a happy ending and an Epilogue.Have I mentioned how much I love Happy Endings and Epilogues?I Love Lila Felix's books and as always look forward to the next one!

*Blog Tour* Down N Derby By Lila Felix

Down N Derby
By Lila Felix

Blurb:
Maddox is running.
By accident, he discovered long ago that he was adopted as a baby and his need to find his biological father has consumed him ever since. Now, on a road trip, determined to find his father and his sanity, and armed with locations and his cousin, Nixon, to help him, maybe he can find the answers he’s been searching for. With nothing but a suitcase and a wad of cash to get him there, lead after lead takes him further from home.
But he’ll find much more than he intended.
He finds Storey, a pint sized pin-up model who has learned painful lessons about guys. Her wounds run deep, but so do his. She knows what she wants, but will she recognize it when it’s right in front of her?
Maddox can’t touch anyone without feeling like his skin is crawling, but just maybe his instinct to protect this amazing girl will supersede his own hang-ups.
If he can brush her skin and start to feel alive inside...everything will change.

EXCERPT

She let her shirt go and it cascaded down her waist, back into place and on top of my hand, not willing to leave her ink yet.  She turned to face me, and my hand rounded the curve of her waist, around to her back and down to where those two dimples sat above the waistband of those tiny shorts she insisted on wearing to bed.

She reached out, grabbed my other hand and placed it on the corresponding spot on her right side.

“You’re not gonna go home, are you?” She whispered it to me; here in the dark while her thumb set me on fire, running across my bottom lip.

“Baby, you are my home,” I answered and pulled her down with me to show her.

*Cover Reveal*How it Rolls By Lila Felix

This cover is gorgeous!!!I cannot wait to read this one!

Excerpt from Falcon
"Why this school, any school, offered classes at seven a.m. was beyond me.  It was apparently beyond a lot of students too.  Most of them came to class in their pajama pants.  Girls could get away with it because it reminded guys that they had recently been in bed.  But guys—no.
And a plus for me?  My seven a.m. teacher was from France.  And he spoke Frenglish.  Sometimes it was funny, but when he announced which chapters we should study and the names came out in English, but the chapter numbers came out in French, I wanted to strangle the sacre bleu out of him."

* Love and Skate By Lila Felix Blog Tour *

                                                               LOVE AND SKATE
On the rink she’s tough, she’s a leader, she’s fast and she’s the epitome of a rebellious girl. But Nellie’s been hurt, only once, but it was enough to make her look at life through different eyes and off the rink she’s a timid girl who loves with no pretenses.
A long time ago Owen Black was betrayed by the girl he thought he loved and the guy he called his best friend. The anguish set off a domino effect of negativity in his life and he never has fully recovered. He meets Nellie Forrester and thinks he can let it go for her.
But how can you love someone when the wounds from your past are still wide open?

                                                         LOVE AND SKATE EXCERPT
Owen spoke up first. “Nellie these girls, have you seen them? Two of them were fighting each other during warm ups and they’re on the same team.  Please, please be careful.”
Amber and Dylan were having their own conversation and Owen began to whisper to me.
“What’s the protocol here?  Can I kiss you in front of your team or does that make you look like a wuss?  ‘Cause you look hot as hell in those little black shorts.”
“If you kissed me right now, I would almost guarantee that the whole room would be jealous of me.  Single, married and otherwise they would all get a taste of the green monster.”
            “Hmmm…”

Perchance By Lila Felix

Remi Harris has a plan. Graduate high school, go to college, become a history teacher, be self-sufficient unlike her mother who is a struggling single mom. And the word ‘boy’ has no place in her plan.
Cooper Neal has been sent to his estranged father’s house to spend his Senior year getting to know him. And maybe, just maybe, there will be some cute girls in the small town.
Cooper sees Remi and he falls hard. Remi sees Cooper and wonders if she can do both. The question is; will he ruin her plans, or be a part of them?

REVIEW-5 STARS

Perchance is once of those feel good books..that once you put down you want to pick it right back up and start over at the beginning.Perchance is about Remi who all she wants to do is graduate and go to college and be nothing like her mother.Cooper,Is meeting his father for the first time in 17 years. For both of them are in for unexpected surprises.
My favorite thing about this book is that the good romantic stuff starts right away. You don't have to wait  until the very ending for something to happen.I loved Cooper,In all honesty you rarely find a 17 year old like that and that made him stand out..in a good way.Remi I just wanted to give her a big hug..Unfortunately that's impossible..okay I did hug her in my head.I adored Coopers Grandmother she was wonderful..her role in the book was small and yet huge at the same time.
Lila Felix has written a book that will wrap you up and have you rooting for the main characters.I'd be here typing the same things over and over if I tried to explain just how much I loved this book.Haven't read it?Read it.Enjoy it!Love it!

Emerge-Lila Felix

Jenna has spent too long being complacent and accepting. Her mother and step-father constantly belittle and berate her for simply being alive. She passes through life keeping everyone and everything at arm’s length because it’s just not worth the questions or the pity party. She takes what they dish out and just tries to survive.
She has thought up a million different ways to get away from them, but lacked the motivation and the sheer will. Like a fast moving tornado, her motivation comes in the form of a boy who cares for her as none other has and who shows her a glimpse of hope, a glimpse into a life she never thought she could have.
But is her new motivation enough to get her out…

REVIEW

Oh My Goodness.I Did NOT want to put this book down.Holy Jehoshaphat.I know im not being as  eloquent as I could be.Lila has created a story that is heartbreaking yet has that rainbow with the pot of gold you are waiting for.Emerge is a story about Jenna who has to deal with a horrible home life...Dont even get me started on her mom..and I use that term loosely or her step dad. Then She meets Carlos..Enter her Rainbow.Without giving to much of the book away..lets just Say Carlos is a wonderful guy and he is her sunshine on a rainy day. I loved that there was an epilogue..In fact that was one of my favorite parts.I think my only issue with this book is that it had to eventually end.Well done Lila..I look forward to reading your next book...so get to writing!I mean that in the nicest possible way.
