Taylor Caldwell can't decide if she wants to kiss her new college roommate or punch him.
On the one hand, Hunter Zaccadelli is a handsome, blue-eyed bundle of charm. On the other, he's a tattooed, guitar-playing bundle of bad boy. Maybe that's why Taylor's afraid of falling in love with him, or anyone else. She doesn't want to get burned, and even though her other roommates adore him, she wants him gone before it's too late.
Hunter himself has been been burned before, but the fact that Taylor calls him out on his crap and has the sexiest laugh ever make him decide maybe love isn't a lost cause. They make a bet: if she can convince him she truly loves or hates him, he'll leave the apartment--and leave her alone. The problem is, the more time they spend together, the less she hates him, and the more she moves toward love.
But when the man who holds the key to Taylor's fear of giving up her heart resurfaces and threatens to wreck everything, she has to decide: trust Hunter with her greatest secret, or do everything in her power to win that bet and drive him away forever.
My Favorite Mistake is a New Adult Contemporary Romance complete at approx. 103,000 words and is suitable for ages 18 and up. Contains violence, language and sexual situations.

Review
This is the first book I have had the pleasure of reading by Chelsea M. Cameron and I adored it.I was able to get lost while reading this book and everything else faded away. That in my humble opinion is the sign of a good..no a great book.
Taylor is going to college and she is in a coed dorm...never expecting to actually have a guy,Hunter have to room with her the her other 2 roommates.Taylor and Hunter's chemistry is off the charts. They have the whole love/hate thing down pat.Taylor and Hunter are both dealing with their own issues which makes them both a bit weary of relationships.I dislike giving spoilers so I'll keep my mouth shut on how the story unfolds..but let me just say...Taylor can pack a punch!
I think my only critique is that the book ended a bit soon for my tastes.I would have loved an Epilogue or even perhaps a book 2. Its a must read! I would say it is definitely a Mature book due to language and sexual happenings.

Preservation-Rachael Wood
An Amazon Contemporary Romance best seller from the author of the best-selling paranormal romance series, The Resistance Trilogy.
Fear is sabotage's sweetest weapon.
Kate has no time for meaningless romantic charades, and definitely no time for hot college professors who are full of themselves and smitten with her. Constantly battling eviction notices, tuition she can't afford, and a sick, dependent mother, the last thing she needs is to be distracted with someone else's complicated baggage.
When she stumbles into Ryan Campbell's creative writing class, he is only "Mr. Campbell" to her, until Ryan finds himself captivated by her writing and she is forced to face their mutual attraction. His cocky know-it-all syndrome is enough to send her running in the other direction, and his posse of female admirers and playboy reputation are enough to squander any odds in her favor.
But underneath Ryan's abrasive facade is something to behold, and she can't stay away for long. Ryan and Kate must decide who they're willing to become and fight against their former selves if they want to make things work. That's if academia, vicious vixens, old skeletons, and their own mastery at self-destruction don't pummel their efforts first.
----------
**REVIEW**
I enjoyed this book.Kate is a girl on her own pretty much and Ryan is her professor. They are both adults and find each other attractive. They begin a relationship and have some twists and turns.Afterall..what relationship is perfect? While I enjoyed this book I did have some issues with it.Perhaps it had to do with a review I read..Perhaps not.
Let me start off,Prior to reading this story I made a mistake by reading a quote. This quote stated the male character was like my beloved Travis Maddox from Beautiful Disaster and My Other Beloved Sebastian Grey. That is ALOT to live up to and well unfortunately Ryan fell short in my eyes.Way Short. Its almost like comparing silk to cotton.
There were times in this book where the storyline just felt so rushed..Its disappointing to enjoy a book only to have an author rush to get it done..or it feel like its being rushed. It literally took 3 short chapters for major happenings in the book only to have it end very shortly after.A love scene at the end of the book just kind of came out of nowhere it felt like it was trying to do a bit fifty shades but since it wasn't throughout the book it did not really fit.I would have liked to know what Ryan was thinking and would have slowed it down a bit.
Overall,I did enjoy the book.I did have issues with the book.Would I read a story by Rachael Wade again?Probably,I cant help but feel a bit let down though.I think the summary was bit better then the actual book. You can find Preservation HERE on Amazon.

In Honor-Jessi Kirby
Honor receives her brother’s last letter from Iraq three days after
learning that he died, and opens it the day his fellow Marines lay the
flag over his casket. Its contents are a complete shock: concert tickets
to see Kyra Kelly, her favorite pop star and Finn's celebrity crush. In
his letter, he jokingly charged Honor with the task of telling Kyra
Kelly that he was in love with her.
Grief-stricken and determined to grant Finn's last request, she rushes to leave immediately. But she only gets as far as the driveway before running into Rusty, Finn's best friend since third grade and his polar opposite. She hasn't seen him in ages, thanks to a falling out between the two guys, but Rusty is much the same as Honor remembers him: arrogant, stubborn. . . and ruggedly good looking. Neither one is what the other would ever look for in a road trip partner, but the two of them set off together, on a voyage that makes sense only because it doesn’t. Along the way, they find small and sometimes surprising ways to ease their shared loss and honor Finn--but when shocking truths are revealed at the end of the road, will either of them be able to cope with the consequences?
**REVIEW**
Whew,This was an emotional read.Honor's brother is killed in action in Iraq,She reads a letter sent by him that was received after he passed away. She leaves immediately with the tickets that were enclosed. However, prior to her leaving Her brothers old friend Rusty shows up and ends up going with her.Along the way they are able to mourn and perhaps find love along the way.
First let me start off by saying I am in a military household so this hit very close to home.No one wants this to happen to anyone.I can honestly say the only thing that disappointed me in this book was that I wasnt sure if Honor and Rusty would continue their relationship.I would have liked an Epilogue just so I would know.I was also sad that it wasn't longer..but like I say its a sign of an amazing book when you don't want it to end.Thats it..thats the only fault I have with this story. It was a wonderful story that had two souls going on a journey and being able to grieve.
You can purchase In Honor HERE on Amazon.I hope you enjoy it and are as enthralled in it as I was.

The Breakaway-Michelle Davidson Argyle
When Naomi Jensen is kidnapped, it takes her parents two days to realize she's missing. Escape isn't high on her list of priorities when all she has to return to is an abusive boyfriend and parents who never paid much attention to her. For the first time in her life she's part of a family-even if it is a family of criminals. But she's still a captive. In a desperate attempt to regain some control in her life, Naomi embarks on a dangerous plan to make one of her kidnappers think she's falling in love with him. The plan works too well, and when faced with the chance to escape, Naomi isn't sure she wants to take it.
**REVIEW**Possible Spoilers
Another new Author for me.When the story first takes place you meet Naomi when she is 17 and after she has been kidnapped.I was a bit surprised that Naomi did not fight her captors a bit more but then who knows what I would have done? Her mom bothered me...I don't care who you are If your child is kidnapped you do anything in your power to get them back. I have to wonder if Naomi's mother Karen had shown her some amount of affection perhaps she would have fought back and tried to escape.
During the course of the book you meet Eric,Jesse,Evelyn and Steve.Honestly as much as I wanted to be angry at Evelyn,Steve and Jessie I couldnt.Eric,Well I had my moments of liking him until he had to go and be a jerk.During this book you will read about Naomi and Jesse's relationship. You know its wrong somewhat Stockholm Syndrome but then you can't help but enjoy seeing how it is going to play out and root for Jesse and Naomi. You will also meet Karen and Jason,Naomi's parents..who lack very much at parenting and finally you will know Brad who at the time of Her Kidnapping was her boyfriend. He is that type of guy that im sure looks good but isnt the kind you would want your daughter hanging out with.Especially how he treated Naomi. There was a part in the book that I had to cheer for Naomi that involves Brad.
Overall,I seriously enjoyed this book.(Now for my not professional sounding fan girl moment). As in I could NOT put it down.As in I did NOT want it to stop.As in OH MY GOD why did you have to end it like that?I will be SORELY disappointed if there is not a sequel.Well Done Michelle Davidson Argyle.Bravo Bravo.I hope many many readers enjoy it as much as I have.

Wraith-Angel Lawson
Freak. Weird. Crazy. These are the names tossed around seventeen-year
old Jane Watts by her fellow classmates. But things aren’t always as
they seem. Sometimes there’s a reason for talking to yourself in the
hallway at school.
Jane struggles with adjusting to her new home and school after an abrupt move. She wants one thing in life—to be like everyone else at school, but that’s hard to do when you’re the new kid. But she does manage to make one friend, Evan—he’s sixteen, charming, and protective. Everything a girl could want in a best friend…with one minor caveat.
He's dead.
Caught somewhere between life and death, Evan is tied to Jane and the living world unable to complete the journey to the other side. She thinks he’s here to be her friend, to take care of her, and that’s why no one can see or hear him.
That is until a new boy shows up at school after a rumored stretch in Juvie. Connor can see Evan and he’s not convinced the ghost is being completely honest. From his own experience ghosts tend to need something from the humans they connect to and Evan, despite his arguments isn’t any different.
Jane is resentful of Connor’s intrusion but realizes soon enough he’s right. Evan has secrets about his past and not only did his life end tragically but members of his family are still in danger. Jane must face her fears and battle Evan’s human demons to free both of them.
**REVIEW**Possible Spoilers
My only complaint with Wraith is that it had to end. This is the first book I have read by Angel Lawson...From what I have found this may be her debut novel..Dont quote me on that though. You first meet Jane and Evan in class with Evan pulling her hair..When Connor actually see's Evan who is a ghost everything goes from there.I feel in love with Jane and Connor and their blossoming relationship. Two people who needed each other the most found each other..Jane put up a bit of a fight but its wonderful how it plays out. While reading the story you see why Evan is still a spirit walking around and just why he needs Jane's help and why Jane needs Connor's help.Wonderfully well written!I would love to see this become a series and watch Jane and Connor's relationship with themselves and Ghosts Mature. Please keep writing.Im very eager to read more of your stories!
If you would like to read the book you can pick it up HERE on Amazon.Wraith is also on GoodReads.

Howl (Book1)-Jody Morse &Jayme Morse
Fifteen-year-old Samara McKinley is not your average teenager. Unlike
her best friend, Emma Taylor, Samara’s life does not revolve around
partying and trying to fit in at school. In between playing the
peacekeeper for her troubled family and crushing on the cute new boy at
school, Samara sets out to stay to true to herself. But that all changes
when she is bitten by a wolf. Samara begins living a double life –
human by day, wolf by night.
As Samara watches her relationships with those closest to her fall apart, she finds refuge in the mysterious wolf that bit her. Determined to keep her alter-ego secret from her family and friends, Samara soon discovers that her family has a few secrets of their own – secrets that could turn her life upside down forever.
**REVIEW**
This is a first book from these authors for me,it is the first book in a series. The storyline is enjoyable..nothing better then reading about werewolves..right?The story had its good parts and bad parts. The good,I enjoyed the characters bantering, getting a feel for Samara's home and school life.I was drawn into the book..it kept me reading so thats always a plus.
The Bad.There is a part in the book when Samara is Bitten by a Wolf its a game changer,However she is bitten and its like oops paper cut.Not I was just attacked by a wolf lets get some emergency help..no she was just bitten not a big deal at all. The way the Characters acted after that was rather unbelievable..I had to read it twice to make sure I read it correctly. This may just be something nit picky on my part but having to read Samara feels this way,Samara went there,Samara decided to do this was flat out annoying.I would have rather read She chose to do this,She wanted that etc.It got so repetitive..I wanted to shout that I knew the main characters name already.I also found it really odd that Samara's parents were referred to as Mr.McKinley and Mrs.McKinley.Again it may be nit picky on my part but im so used to reading,"Her mom said, or Samara's Dad said etc. Not Mr.McKinley said.I feel like some basic editing needed to be worked on.
That being said if you can overlook certain aspects of the book then its a very very enjoyable start to the series. At .99 on the kindle its not to bad.Ive started the 2nd book and am enjoying it so far.Its a new twist on a Cute werewolf series.Give it a chance Read it and I hope you enjoy it.

Becoming a ButterFly By Mia Castile
16 years old Lacey was never the center of attention, unless she was tripping, stammering, or being deposited into a pool by the local popular kids. All she wanted was to fit in, until one night when everything changed.
Jade and Tasha, her two best friends, helped her create an online personality that was everything she wanted to be - and it was only the beginning. In doing so she attracted the attention of Henry, her lifelong crush and next door neighbor. Unfortunately it was Farrah her online personality and not herself he was interested in.
She also attracted Chase the brooding, quiet, anti-social new kid of Brownsburg High School, who easily figured out her secret and blackmailed her. They forged a friendship that was both unique and complicated.
Lacey must decide if revealing herself to Henry and her entire school as the cool, charming, and funny Farrah is worth possibly losing him forever, and she finds herself needing to make an even harder decision than she ever thought possible. When did the lines between truth and lies get so blurred?
Becoming a Butterfly is a story about coming of age and finding yourself when you never knew you were lost.
**This is a MATURE YA FICTION SERIES**
****REVIEW****May contain Spoilers!
I was Given an eARC of this book to review. This is not the First book I've read by Mia Castle and certainly will not be the last. When I first started this book the name of the facebook type group for their high school reminded me of a movie I had seen on ABC family months ago.You meet Lacey,Lana,Her friends,Chase, Henry and others and realize she doesn't quite fit in with the other kids at school..especially the boy Henry that she has liked since Kindergarten.Henry...Well Henry and I dont get along...Im joking but honestly I just couldn't stand him.I loved Chase..He's a stand up guy.
In this book you will see Lacey find herself.I think we have all felt like Lacey in high school..wanting to pretend we are something we are not.She is an amazing Young Adult she doesn't see herself as such but she is.This book does contain some mature subject matter but honestly its written so well that..I really dont feel it needed the label as the book was well written and the events were well played out in the story...but that is just my humble opinion. It's a wonderful to story that unfolds....I found putting the kindle down was not an option.Im am very much looking forward to book 2,Butterfly Kisses.I hope to read more about all of the characters.Last but not least..Trapper Keepers are awesome!
This is book worth reading and worth waiting for.Mia Castile Definitely wrote another winner and I hope you enjoy is as much as I did.
