Her assignment has dealt with bullies since her freshman year and they haven’t let up. If Nissa can’t help her regain her self-confidence her future is bleak.

To complicate matters Nissa experiences all the signs that she's met the being fated for her. This impossibility distracts her from her purpose. *REVIEW* For You By Mimi Strong

For You
By Mimi Strong

Blurb
I should have known by the tattoos that Sawyer was trouble. My mother always said to stay away from boys with ink, but she ignored her own advice. She also abandoned me and my little sister.

Life's been hard for the two of us, on the run and on our own, but I just turned twenty-one and started working at a bar in a new city. I wear a fake wedding band and a veil of lies.

My gold ring didn't stop Sawyer. He looked into me with his heavenly green eyes, and I nearly forgot my pretty lies. Now he wants to help me get my life together.

I should stay away, because he could blow my cover. When we get found—and I know one day we will—I want my sister to be old enough to handle the truth about our past.

I may be hanging out with Sawyer, but we're definitely not dating. I swear, he's not setting me on fire with every glance or casual touch. We're just friends. I'm not thinking about him wrapping those tattooed arms around me, every second of every day.

Book 1 in the Runaway Lies Trilogy. New Adult Contemporary Romance.

REVIEW
5 STARS
I loved this book! This is the story of Aubrey and Sawyer..Aubrey who is trying to outrun her past and Sawyer who just won't leave her alone.I was so engrossed in this story. Its one where you do not want to be interrupted.I was iffy on the point of view crossover.I love reading alternating points of views. However I usually dislike when the author goes back and I have to re-read the entire chapter from the others point of view. This time I enjoyed it.Why?Mimi Strong pulled it off!Sawyer is just full of awesome. He is funny, sarcastic, hot, tattooed.Just plain YUMMERS.He stole the book and my heart. This is a must read and I cannot wait for book 2.I seriously cannot say enough great things about this book!

Fun Facts!!

1. I don't get a crush on my leading men every time, but I sure fell for Sawyer. How bad was this crush? Let's just say there was a guilty confession made to my husband.

2. Some beta readers asked me if the infamous maple syrup scene might be taking it too far. I'm sure for some people, it was. However, is there anything more exciting than hearing an artist you enjoy saying the phrase, “I took a risk”? I have a musician friend who pointed out that I'm quite brave with my work. Trust me, I don't always feel brave, but I'm willing to take risks.

3. The original title was Forget You, for all of about a day. The other people I tested the title on didn't really “get” the title, plus it seemed a bit aggressive, like the Cee Lo Green song. I knew that the simple title might be hard to find using a search engine, but I enjoyed it so much, I used it anyway.

4. For You is my fourteenth book. I started out self-publishing YA books in 2011 under the name Dalya Moon. I frequently had to tone down the romantic scenes in my stories to keep them YA, so moving into erotic romance and New Adult made perfect sense for me.

Aubrey's POV

The man at the counter didn't say a word to me, either. He barely took his eyes off the TV sitting at the side of the counter.
When I got back to our pool table, Sawyer was using the Lady Helper to make a shot.
“No way,” I said. “You're using the Lady Helper? I wanted to use that five shots ago, but I thought you'd make fun of me.”
He tapped the cue ball gracefully, sending it arcing around one ball and gently into another, which ricocheted into the pocket as if programmed.
He said, “No shame in using the tools you have, or taking assistance.”
“How zen.”
“And this isn't a Lady Helper.” The stick had a metal waving bit at the end, and Sawyer held it up proudly, like a trident.
“What do you call it?”
He grinned. “I call it The Fucking Thing. As in, hand me The Fucking Thing already, so I don't bend over and give all you perverts a good view of my ass.”
I laughed into my hand.
“So that's what it takes to get you to laugh. A couple of swear words, and the mental image of my ass on display.”
“Gimme the stick. I paid for an hour and I want my money's worth.”
As I reached for the cue, he jerked his hand back. “Gimme?”
“Please and thank you.”
“That's better.” He turned around and pointed to the purple ball. “Now sink that in the corner pocket.”
“I'm still solids? Because I see at least three shots that are easier.”
“I know. But you won't get any better taking the easy shots. You may as well be at home baking cookies for your daughter.”
I inhaled sharply. My daughter. My lies sounded so much worse on someone else's lips.
Getting in position for the shot, I realized I had to bank the ball, so I moved around the table. As I shifted past Sawyer, the back of my legs brushed against his. We'd only touched when riding the motorcycle, and the brief contact made me keenly aware of his body. His energy. The mass of him, tall and masculine, inches away from me.
His voice low and husky, he said, “I know I promised not to do this, but I have to. Do I have your permission to get in here and help you.”
“Yes.”
Slowly, he positioned himself just behind me and reached his arms around me. I wasn't scared or upset, because it was Sawyer, and I trusted him. His hot hands looped over mine on the cue, and his heat radiated into my side. His breath hot on my ear, he murmured, “Easy.”
I swallowed and tried to focus on the shot, and not the feelings bubbling up inside me.
“Easy,” he repeated.
“Easy peasy,” I said.
“More like easy does it.” He moved the cue back and forth with authority. He was so good, it made me appreciate the frustration Bell had when I helped with her hand-lettering. Of course writing letters came easily to me; I'd had years of practice and muscle memory.
“Okay, I got it,” I said. “You can let go.”
He gripped my hand tighter. “No, I can't.”
I turned to look at him, our faces so close, our noses were nearly touching. I lost myself in those green eyes, unable to breathe. My pulse thrummed in my ears.
He said, “I can't let go, because I'm going to help you make the shot. Focus on the feeling, and I'll set it up again for you to make on your own.”
“Okay, do it.”
He chuckled. “You have to open your eyes.”

Description
Trying to get his bearings on an unfamiliar street and not paying attention, Jeremy slams his breaks to avoid hitting the most beautiful bride he has ever seen. When Danielle climbs in his truck, he assumes she’s in a hurry to get to her wedding; he didn’t realize she was escaping one. He agrees to let her return to his apartment so she can call for help, only she refuses to leave.

As the days pass, Jeremy finds it harder to fight off her passes and claims of falling in love with him. Besides having almost ten years on her, Jeremy discovers the family secret she had been trying to hide. How could the daughter of a billionaire settle for a plumber living paycheck to paycheck?

Despite every tactic her father throws at her and an ex-fiancé who refuses to let her go, Dani stakes her claim to the only thing she has ever truly wanted in her life and fights to make Jeremy hers.

Excerpt

“Exactly who the hell are you, Dani? Paris Hilton?”

She walked to a bench then sat down. “We’re doing this sooner than I hoped.”

“What’s your last name?”

Again she sighed. “Houseman.”

“You’re shitting me.”

“I wish I was.”

Jeremy sat down, afraid his knees would give away. “You’re… your dad is… Dani that’s…” He couldn’t form a proper sentence and opted to shut up.

“That’s pretty much how everyone reacts. It was nice while it lasted.” She went to stand up, but he held her hand and pulled her back down.

“First of all, nothing about this was nice, so cut the crap. You pretty much kidnapped and raped me… twice on that second one.”

She managed a giggle.

“I’m sorry I was a stammering idiot. I guess I’ve never been in the presence of a billionairess before. My humble plumbing and heating ass feels a little put to shame.”

She rested her cheek to his chest; he wrapped an arm around her. “I liked that you liked me for me, not who I was.”

“I don’t like you. What are you talking about?”

She gave him a playful slap on his chest. “You were starting to like me. Admit it.”

“Maybe I finally got to where I could tolerate your two a.m. jumpings.”

Again she laughed. “What Blake and I had was practically a medieval arranged marriage. His family is even more loaded than mine. I didn’t date much before him because I was always under lock and key. I was damn lucky I didn’t have a chastity belt put on me. If I was out with family without him, everyone swooned over me like a trophy. They wanted to date me because of who I was.”

“Don’t sell yourself short. You’re gorgeous.”

“You never said you like the way I look.”

“Am I dead? Come on, Dani. You have to know how beautiful you are.”

“I don’t think anyone has told me that – not anyone who didn’t want something from me, anyway.”

“Well then, I guess you can take my compliment off your list of firsts.”

“Why? You don’t want anything from me.”

“I wouldn’t go that far.” He moved her off his chest and stood up.

She followed him up. “You do like me. I knew it!”

“You are certifiable – a total nut job, one of the pickiest eaters I have ever known… but you drive me crazy.” She tiptoed up to wrap her arms around his neck, but he stopped her and held her by the wrists. “Nothing has changed, Dani. No, wait. In fact is has. It’s worse. We are even more of a mismatch than we’ve ever been. I’m still too old for you and you still need to wake up and quit your pouting. I knew I should have stuck to my guns about us. Nothing good is going to come to me for falling for you. There’s no way your family will tolerate anything less than this Blake.”

*Blog Tour* Down By Contact By Jami Davenport

It's showtime.

After twelve years in the league, all Zach Murphy wants is a Super Bowl ring. He’s been about hard hits not smooth manners, about breaking quarterbacks not making small talk at cocktail parties. But now he’s shattered something else. After dumping a tray of drinks on the team owner’s snooty daughter and accidentally feeling up the Governor’s wife, his tenure with his team looks perilously short. And things are getting worse.

Life is looking up for Kelsie Carrington-Richmond. A onetime beauty pageant star and mean girl, she only recently stopped living out of her car. But those times have passed. Her finishing school for real men has a real shot, and the Seattle Lumberjacks have hired her to polish their roughest player.

Except…it’s Zach. Long ago she broke his heart. He’s just the beast she remembers—gruff, protective—but she’s nothing like the beauty from his past. Yet, getting knocked down happens, and getting back up makes a contender. And they both have the hearts of champions.

Exclusive Excerpt:

**Disclaimer: This content is unedited and subject to change**

I awake and slowly blink the sleep out of my eyes. The sun is fading, casting dark shadows in the room. I turn my head to see I’m alone in the bed. Lying on my stomach, staring non-seeing into the room, I remember how exquisitely fucked I was just a few hours ago.

The feel of his hard body over me and his cock moving in and out of me, the sweat dripping off him as we both came. I feel myself get turned on all over again, and he isn’t even here touching me. Then I remember his muted words spoken right before I fell asleep.

“I want you to know I would have waited another sixteen years to be able to feel that with you again.”

I’m finding it hard to believe that Jacob could rescue me from the prison I’ve put myself in over the years, living the life of someone other than whom I feel I should be. Even if that is my true wish, wishes don’t always come true.

The hotel room door opens and Jacob walks in carrying a couple bottles of water from a vending machine, setting them on a side table. He looks yummy as he walks to the bed with a wide smile on his face. Sitting next to me on the edge of the bed, he bends down and kisses my shoulder and down my naked spine, stopping where the sheet lies just above my ass.

“Hey, sleepyhead.” He murmurs in between those drugging kisses. My legs start to stir beneath the sheet and I’m tempted to take another ride before I have to leave.

“Hi. If you keep doing that, you’re not going to be able to stop me from having my wicked way with you again and I need to leave soon.” I sigh with frustration.

“Maybe that’s exactly what I want.” Running a finger up and down my spine, he stretches out next to me.

“I’m sure it is, but I have stuff to get done before I’m back on the road in a few days. I warned you I didn’t have much time but I would do my best to make this work.”

“It feels like I just got you back, and now you have to go away again. I’d much rather see your beautiful face, instead of dreaming of it. Will you have time to sneak away again before you fly out?”

“I’m not sure. We’ll have to play it by ear. I don’t know how much I have to give you, Jacob. And I’m not just talking about my time either. I’ve been going down this lonely path for a while now and I’m not sure where it’s left me. Regardless of what we did today, I am still a married woman with commitments and responsibilities.” I hate bringing up this fact, but I need the reminder out there that this isn’t a fairytale. Its real life, and its messy.

He leans over and thoroughly kisses me before murmuring, “I know. And I’ll take whatever I can get with you. It’s better than having none of you.”

With that parting blow, he kisses me one last time, grabs his keys and heads out.

“Text me later, baby. I’ll be waiting.”

I sure hope I know what I’m doing, because it feels as though things are going to get extremely complicated.

Blurb:

Kaira, still reeling from the loss of her younger sister in a tragic boating accident, lives in the dark world of exotic dancing for survival. When one man enters her life, her world is turned upside down and inside out, where reality and fantasy seem to intertwine.
Kaira feels the eyes of a striking man watching her every move on stage. Zane is a scarred man with many secrets, one of which is the knowledge of who and what Kaira really is and the danger she will face.

While Zane fights a subconscious battle about what to tell her and whether he cares enough to get involved, another has noticed her as well. An Ithacan, sent to destroy her for what she is and take her powers to the God that has commanded all Forgotten be exterminated. The God intends to absorb her powers and rule absolutely.
Before Kaira realizes what is coming for her, she finds herself tumbling into a world where a scarred man that she is inexplicably attracted to will become her only hope. A hideous creature, one such as she’s never seen, is hunting her and trying his best to destroy everything and everyone she knows to get what he wants for his Master, and only Zane knows why.
While Kaira thinks it coincidence that Zane shows up at the club the girls like to frequent after work, Zane uses the planned interception to explore the pull that he feels towards Kaira, when he has cared for no one but himself for so many years. After finally meeting, Zane notices that the Ithacan has also followed and as their eyes meet, they both know that the battle for her soul will come; who will win is less important as the insistence Zane feels to tell Kaira who and what she is before she ends up like her sister.

Le’ Book Squirrel Interview for Aphrodite’s Secret by Samantha Ketteman

Question 1:
Where did you come up with the Idea for Aphrodite's Secret?
I’m not really sure. I know that’s a lame answer, but it just came to me one day. I have always been interested in greek mythology; I even took LATIN in high school, which turned out to be a big mistake, because I was upset that the whole class wasn’t going to focus on the mythology aspect. When I knew I wanted to write a book, I thought about the Greek mythology and the idea just formed. I bounce many, many ideas off of my best friend and sister of the heart, and she helped me in my times of writer’s block. Really, this book belongs to her as well.
Question 2:
Who is your dream cast?
Oh, this could be fun! Let’s see….. For Aphrodite, I would love to have Jessica Beil (Did I spell that right), because I think she is absolutely beautiful, and could have the grit needed for the stripper role. For Zane, it would be a toss up….. I absolutely love Gerard Butler, but I think I would go with my second love, Johnny Depp. I would love Halle Berry to play Jasmine, because she is ethereal and can play the gritty role as well as the smart-ass that Jasmine is.
Question 3:
What is your favorite book?
I can’t just name one. Can anyone? I have many favorites. I love Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series, I loved the early BDB books, and I am a huge Gwen Sparks fan. I was so excited to find out she was an indie! I felt like a total groupie.
Question 4:
What made you want to start writing?
Actually, I’ll be honest on this one. I have always had stories in my head, but never felt like I would be good enough to actually put them out there. Then, I read a really bad book. I know I shouldn’t say that, but it’s the truth. I thought, if this person got they’re book out there, I can write so much better. Maybe it was time to try my hand at it, and if it sucked, well, then, at least I wasn’t afraid to do what I had only dreamed of doing for so many years.
Question 5:
Last but not least, if you could meet 1 famous person who would that be?
Hmmm…… I think I would LOVE to meet Zane, my character. I know he’s not famous…. Yet. LOL. Seriously though, that’s a tough decision. I think I would love to meet Jane Austen. I’m in love with everything she wrote and I think that she could teach me so much.

Description
Michael Dunbar runs his family's cattle station in the far north of Western Australia. Station life is lonely and he wishes there was a way he could find a companion that wouldn’t mind living the outback life with him. In hopes of finding a woman, Michael heads to Broome for a few weeks holiday. What he finds is something he never expected.

Mia Mason is a Perth girl who longs to leave the city behind for a life in the country.

Can two like minds fall in love? Only destiny knows.

Warning: This title is intended for readers over the age of 18 as it contains adult sexual situations and/or adult language, and may be considered offensive to some readers.

 Excerpt:
As I admired the scenery around me, I saw a camel train headed my way. Of all the things I’d experienced on previous visits to Broome, a camel ride wasn’t one of them. I decided I’d correct that on my trip.

Just as the camels passed by, the wind whipped something at my face. It scared the crap out of me. At once I grabbed the item and held it out in front of me—a straw hat. I searched around for an owner.

When I glanced up, I saw a stunning, petite brunette looking down at me from her seat on one of the camels. She appeared very apologetic as the camel train continued to move forward. I ran to catch up with the sluggish animals and I handed the hat back to the beautiful woman, feeling lucky I was tall enough to reach.

“Thank you,” she said as she tried to shake my hand.

It worried me she might fall off the camel as she reached for my hand, so, I just waved her away and said, “You’re welcome.”

I watched the camels continue up the beach for a little ways before I resumed my walk.

As I walked along the beach, every now and then, the waves lapped on to my feet. My mind wandered to the brown haired beauty perched on the camel’s back. I could tell from her thank you she had an Aussie accent. I wondered where she was from, or if I would ever see her again. If ever there were a woman whose beauty optimised what I viewed as perfection, she would be it. Her beauty was natural and understated, not marred by tonnes of make-up. And, although she was by no means fat, she wasn’t one of those stick thin girls you see with absolutely no curves. I wasn’t one to shy away from the fact I liked my women with curves.

I walked for about an hour then sat down on the beach and watched the red and yellow colours dance across the sky as the sun sank below the horizon.

After a while, I became hungry so I headed back to the hotel to grab some dinner at the restaurant.

One of the main things I looked forward to during my holiday was the chance to eat something other than meat and vegetables for dinner. Don’t get me wrong, my mum was a great cook and no one did a better steak and mash than her. However, they say variety is the spice of life and I planned to spice up my life with many different dishes.

I headed back to my room to change before dinner. After a quick shower to rid myself of the salt from the beach, I pulled on a pair of well-worn jeans and a button-down shirt. I rolled the sleeves up to my elbows and on my way out the door, I grabbed the book I brought to read while I ate.

Though dining alone wasn’t one of my favourite things, I’d done it quite a few times. After the first couple of times I sat bored and twiddled my thumbs as I waited for my food, I now found time passed quicker if I had a book to read. This time around, I’d brought with me the latest John Grisham novel.

After ordering deep fried Camembert and cranberries for entrée and garlic butter lobster for the main course, I opened my book and began to read. I’d only read a few lines when I heard a very quiet, “Excuse me.”

When I looked up from my book, I expected to see a waitress with my entrée but instead, I saw the gorgeous woman from earlier. “Hi?” I said.

“It looks like you’re eating alone. Would you mind if I joined you?”

Stunned that she asked to sit with me, it took a few seconds for my thoughts to catch up. All I managed to say was, “Of course.”

“I’m Mia Mason,” she said as she took the seat opposite me and held her hand out to me.

“Michael Dunbar,” I replied as I shook her hand.

The moment we touched, I felt a strange, yet pleasurable sensation move up my arm and quickly spread throughout my body.

“Nice to meet you.” A cheeky grin lit up her face—as if she knew a secret nobody else did.

*BLOG TOUR STOP* A Different Blue By Amy Harmon

Book Blurb:
Blue Echohawk doesn't know who she is.  She doesn't know her real name or when she was born.  Abandoned at two and raised by a drifter, she didn't attend school until she was ten years old.  At nineteen, when most kids her age are attending college or moving on in life, she is just a senior in high school.   With no mother, no father, no faith, and no future, Blue Echohawk is a difficult student, to say the least. Tough, hard and sexy, she is the complete opposite of the young British teacher who decides he is up for the challenge, and takes the troublemaker under his wing.
This is the story of a nobody who becomes somebody.  It is the story of an unlikely friendship, where hope fosters healing and redemption becomes love.  But falling in love can be hard when you don't know who you are.  Falling in love with someone who knows exactly who they are and exactly why they can't love you back might be impossible.

EXCERPT
I stood and moved next to Wilson but kept my eyes trained on the sculpture so that I didn't have to make eye contact with anyone in the room.  The class had fallen into stunned silence.  Wilson started by asking some basic questions about tools and different kinds of wood.  I answered easily, without embellishment and found myself relaxing with each question.
    “Why do you carve?”
“My...father...taught me.  I grew up watching him work with wood.  He made beautiful things.  Carving makes me feel close to him.”  I paused, gathering my thoughts.  “My father said carving requires looking beyond what is obvious to what is possible.”
Wilson nodded as if he understood, but Chrissy piped up from the front row.
“What do you mean?” she questioned, her face screwed up as she turned her head this way and that, as if trying to figure out what she was looking at.
“Well....take this sculpture for example,” I explained. “It was just a huge hunk of mesquite. When I started, it wasn't beautiful at all.  In fact, it was ugly and heavy and a pain in the ass to get in my truck.”
Everyone laughed, and I winced and muttered an apology for my language.
“So tell us about this particular sculpture.” Wilson ignored the laughter and continued, refocusing the class. “You called it 'The Arc' – which I found fascinating.”
“I find that if something is really on my mind....it tends to come out through my hands.  For whatever reason, I couldn't get the story about Joan of Arc out of my head.  She appealed to me,” I confessed, slanting a look at Wilson, hoping he didn't think I was trying to butter him up.  “She inspired me.  Maybe it was how young she was.  Or how brave.  Maybe it was because she was tough in a time when woman weren't especially valued for their strength.  But she wasn't just tough...she was...good,” I finished timidly.  I was afraid everyone would laugh again, knowing that “good” was not something that had ever been applied to me.
The class had grown quiet. The boys who usually slapped my rear and made lewd suggestions were staring at me with confused expressions.  Danny Apo, a hot Polynesian kid I'd made out with a time or two, was leaning forward in his chair, his black brows lowered over equally black eyes.  He kept looking from me to the sculpture and then back again.  The quiet was unnerving, and I looked at Wilson, hoping he would fill it with another question.
“You said carving is seeing what's possible.  How did you know where to even start?” He fingered the graceful sway of the wood, running a long finger over Joan's bowed head.
“There was a section of  trunk that had a slight curve.  Some of the wood had rotted, and when I cut it all away I could see an interesting angle that mimicked that curve.  I continued to cut away, creating the arch.  To me it looked like a woman's spine...like a woman praying.”  My eyes shot to Wilson's, wondering if my words brought to mind the night he had discovered me in the darkened hallway.  His eyes met mine briefly and then refocused on the sculpture.
“One thing I noticed, when I saw all your work together, was that each piece was very unique – as if the inspiration behind each one was different.”
I nodded.  "They all tell a different story.”
“Ahhh.  Hear that class?” Wilson grinned widely.  “And I didn't even tell Blue to say it.  Everyone has a story.  Every thing has a story.  Told you so.”
The class snickered and rolled their eyes, but they were intent on the discussion, and their attention remained with me.  A strange feeling came over me as I looked out over the faces of people I had known for many years.  People I had known but never known.  People I had often ignored and who had ignored me.  And I was struck by the thought that they were seeing me for the first time.

Im in utter Awe of Amy Harmon right now.Utter Awe.I am writing this review in full out Book Bliss.A Different Blue was such an Emotional Story.A Different Blue is the story of Blue EchoHawk who has no idea who she truly is.She was found by Jimmy who later passes away. She creates this tough girl image and then Darcy Wilson comes into the picture.Darcy is Blue's History
teacher. He does not take any of her crap.Blue has been alone most of her life and has no sense of being loved.I will end it with that because to give more details will spoil the story and I certainly do NOT want to do that.
The level of emotions I felt while reading A Different Blue was amazing. Its rare that I feel so strong emotionally about a book.I sit here and writing and thinking about A Different Blue brings tears to my eyes.Amy Harmon has captured how it is to feel unloved and then what it feels like to be loved. She has written such a well written story..she entwines Native American Folklore with English Literature and even a bit of history.I would imagine it is hard to write such an emotional book but Amy has done it and she hit it out of the ballpark. This book is definitely a MUST read and I can assure you it will be on Le'BookSquirrels Top 13 books of 2013.Simply.Amazing.Amy Harmon You can take a bow..Im applauding you in front of my computer.I look forward to reading More of your Work.

I was given an ARC for an honest Review

Author Bio:  Amy Harmon knew at an early age that writing was something she wanted to do, so she divided her time between writing songs and stories as she grew. Having grown up in the middle of wheat fields without a television, with only her books and her siblings to entertain her, she developed a strong sense of what made a good story. Amy Harmon has been a motivational speaker, a grade school teacher, a junior high teacher, a home school mom, and a member of the Grammy Award winning Saints Unified Voices Choir, directed by Gladys Knight. She released a Christian Blues CD in 2007 called "What I Know" - also available on Amazon and wherever digital music is sold.  She lives in the middle of nowhere with her husband and four kids, and doesn't plan to ever move somewhere, because nowhere is sublime.  She has written Running Barefoot, and the Young Adult books Slow Dance in Purgatory and the sequel, Prom Night in Purgatory.  A Different Blue is her fourth novel.

At first, being together is unbearable and annoying, but things start to change as Ashton and Luca discover the real reasons they drifted apart seven years ago.

Now, keeping their hands off each other seems impossible.

Impossible,Was a book I read ironically right after I read Falling For Hadie.Which shows you that you do not need to read them in order.I will admit I had a hard time liking Ashton in the beginning. She was mean. She was cruel.I said self..there is no way possible that you can like her.Well I was wrong.Because I did end up liking her once she made some major changes.Luca and Ashton both grew up together but grew apart during the years due to tragedy and them running with different crowds.Ashton is a very popular girl,Your essential mean girl  and she is knocked down a peg and is pretty much a social leper now. Luca is her neighbor. He is your essential rocker and dresses like a rocker does.Eventually Ashton and Luca see eye to eye after quite a bit of fighting.Once they do its amazing.
I have said it before and I will say it again.Komal Kant knows how to write.Reading her work is amazing. Its the Unless the house is on fire or the kids have an emergency then do not interrupt me good.I look forward to Komal's next books.Seriously I'm not sure what anyone is waiting for.Read this.Move it on up your To Be Read list.Do it!It is so worth it!Another job well done Komal.

*REVIEW* Falling For Hadie By Komal Kant

Falling For Hadie
By Komal Kant
Published March 7th 2013

Running away from his old life in New York City, Lincoln Bracks ends up in the small town of Statlen, Iowa. He isn’t interested in making friends or getting to know anyone. He just wants to keep his head down and disappear amongst the crowd. That was the plan anyway, until he meets Hadie Swinton.

Nursing a broken heart and the realization that the boy she’s loved her entire life isn’t Prince Charming, Hadie is set against ever falling for the same type of guy again. But when new boy, Lincoln, arrives in town, she discovers that this is easier said than done.

Hadie assumes that Lincoln is a typical arrogant jock—he is good-looking, confident and charming—but when he doesn’t do anything she expects him to, she is intrigued by him against her better judgment. There is definitely more to Lincoln then just a pretty face, but Lincoln is hiding something that he doesn’t want anybody to discover because when they do, they will never look at him the same again.

Falling in love was the last thing Lincoln wanted to do, so how will he convince himself to fall out of it?

I was given a Copy of Falling For Hadie for an honest review.

This is an extremely hard review to write.Emotionally, I had no idea what I was getting myself into when asked to read Falling For Hadie By Komal Kant.I feel as though I have been run through an emotional gauntlet.Had I known I would feel this way about this book or need a boxful of tissues I would have been better prepared.I was completely blindsided in a good way by how much this book hit me emotionally.Lincoln Bracks moves to Iowa and there he meets Hadie.Hadie is heartbroken from a previous relationship gone wrong and is anti-guys when Lincoln comes to school.Slowly they fall in love after many attempts not too. When you read this you will read about true romance and the true meaning of Living for the moment.

Did you know My Kindle actually died on me due to me reading this book all day long and I literally charged it for 5 minutes so I could finish the book?Im not sure if anyone is aware of the trauma that induced. Here I am reading a book that I could not get enough of and my kindle dies.It was horrible.Falling For Hadie was nothing like I expected.I expected a regular YA romance but what I recieved was so very much more.Im so angry at myself for never having read Komal Kant's Previous book.Im am utterly blown away by the Talent that is Komal Kant.I feel like I need to go have a cry fest after reading this book.I do hope that Komal Kant will write another book for Hadie because I feel as though her story is not quite over and it would be a darn shame not to finish her story.I will say this.If you don't read this book then you are going to kick yourself. Its amazing.Komal,You have talent. The way you write is a breath of fresh air.I look forward to reading more by you and you will definitely be on my Favorite author lists.Thank you for writing this story.
